someone once told me, 'there are basically 3 kinds of people.
People who make things happen, people who watch things happen,
and people who wonder what happened.'J
I
choose to be a persona who makes things happen in my life, my business,
and my interactions with my clients, audiences, and readers. I enjoy
seeing my Ideas At Work!
I
coined the title 'Creative Leadership
Catalyst' for two primary
reasons:
1) To have something more creative as an introduction which will entice
people to ask me for more information. To effectively open conversation
opportunities with potential clients which will allow us to find mutual
benefit and common ground.
2) To remind myself and focus my energies on the role and benefit I
bring to the table in my presentations,
consultations,and
publications.
I
am often engaged in a consulting,
or leadership coaching
role. As a creative leadership catalyst, I frequently
challenge existing conditions, mind sets, and 'traditions'. I ask probing
questions and offer 'suggestions' or ideas (hence the nickname 'idea
man') which get my clients thinking in different directions, often
for mutual profit. And they like it and ask for more!J
When people take personal leadership in their lives all it takes is
a little creative catalyst to explode to the next level.
I
bring this skill to my creative sessions as an Executive
Speech Coach, too!
When
I am engaged as a keynote or breakout speaker
for a conference or brought in for a series of corporate
training programs, I consistently challenge my audiences to engage
my Ideas At Work!
- to act on what they hear. To take personal leadership and
responsibility for their own growth and success. I give them clear,
easily understood and applied ideas, tips, and success techniques that
will help them and their respective teams profitably and successfully
move to the next level.
Other
than 'you looked like you were having fun up there,' the greatest
compliment
I can receive is, 'You made me think!' Then I know
I have done my job. J
I
bring this creative leadership, catalytic effect into
my writing
as well. Each of my 10 books,
my mini-book series, and our new e-book series contain specific challenges

to act on what they've read and make beneficial changes in their lives,
careers, communities, and companies."
I've
