Why did Ideas At Work! create this results-based rewards program? Bob's answer to this question: "Over the past decade or so, I have been blessed with so many people who have become my fans and champions, advocates if you will; people who like what I do and have been kind enough to pass along my name to prospective clients. They’ve referred me either as a business coach, consultant, speaker, writer or speech coach. This is the kind of promotion you can’t buy because it comes from satisfied clients and audience members. I am humbled and appreciative of their efforts on my behalf. Their kindness serves as encouragement to keep writing and sharing my ideas. This is my way of saying thanks!" This
informal, word-of-mouth referral process has created a small
challenge, in that they do not do this for money; they do it because
they feel what Bob has to offer will benefit those people they
tell about him. Many of them are in leadership roles and are simply glad
to be able to pass on a good resource to their colleagues. Bob
wanted to make this a more formal process for anyone willing to pass along
his name to a potential client. After all, some of the bureaus garner
good commissions for simply suggesting him to their customers.
As he says, "Why shouldn’t his readers and visitors gain
the same benefits when many of them are already doing it?" He
regularly gets referrals and leads from his on-site feedback forms. This
will give him an opportunity to say thanks in a tangible way. We would hope it would be to share their satisfaction with their experiences or application of some of his innovative Ideas At Work! That has been our experience for the referrals given over the past ten years or so. People learn something and find value and tell their friends and colleagues or belong to an association or company looking for a speaker, facilitator, or trainer. The rewards program is a gratitude-based program to simply say thank you to people who pass on our name and refer us. Our guess is very few would do it just for the publications, even if they are value-added and have helped thousands of professionals, business owners, leaders and organizations hone their skills and equip and motivate their teams to win! Either way - you win! How does this results-based rewards program work? We wanted to keep this simple. Ranges for rewards (like Amazon and Chapters/Indigo) would depend on specific client needs and then subsequently their engaging Bob's services.
Reward ranges will range from $50 to $500 (potentially more depending on the contract). Once Ideas At Work! has a formal agreement or contract (deposit, where applicable) you will be contacted and given your shopping spree reward amount.
Simply log on, email or call to tell us where you want to invest your purchases. They’ll be e-mailed or mailed to you within the week, unless Bob is on the road. You may even get some bonus complimentary publications from fellow CAPS and NSA members for your efforts. You
can still earn rewards, even if your referral does not choose to engage
us. If it is a legitimate (open to hiring) referral where they
seriously consider using one of our services, we will show our
appreciation for gaining the opportunity to show what we can do. Perhaps
your choice of one of Bob's e-books? How do I make the referral and collect my rewards? Three ways: 1) Please pass along Bob's name and main website (www.ideaman.net) to whomever you think would be a good fit or would benefit from engaging his services. Hopefully your experience will provide a glimpse of the benefit for them.
